Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis
Contact (Single Form): to address and resolve inquiries submitted to PHILOFAI (both technical and academic), as well as respond to requests for information about the specific research published on the site.
Data Retention Period
PHILOFAI informs you that your personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described (e.g., until your request, inquiry, or proposal has been fully processed, or until your relationship as a benefactor of AREOPAGITICUM ends). Afterwards, the data will be kept, duly blocked, for the duration of the legal limitation periods applicable to AREOPAGITICUM and for any legal responsibilities that may arise from your relationship with AREOPAGITICUM and the processing of your personal data.
Data Recipients
PHILOFAI does not transfer data to third countries or international organizations and does not share users’ personal data with any third parties.
Exercise of Rights
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability at any time by sending a written communication including a copy of their national identity document to the postal address indicated in this Privacy Policy or to the following email address: frontdesk@philofai.org.
Additionally, users have the right to withdraw their consent at any time by sending an email to the above address or by mail to the stated postal address. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to its withdrawal, but it will make it impossible to fulfill the purpose for which the personal data was provided.
It is the general policy of AREOPAGITICUM, and therefore of its Academic Committee and PHILOFAI administrators, not to collect any other type of personal data from users of the site. In compliance with Law 25.326 of the Republic of Argentina and Provision 18/2015 of the National Directorate for the Protection of Personal Data of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, we declare that under no circumstances will any personal information of PHILOFAI users be collected or stored.
In cases where a reader wishes to contact a PHILOFAI author on their own initiative, the connection will be made directly through the email address provided by the author, without the involvement of the site administrators.
